Life in the UK: London's Famous Streets

Have you heard of Oxford Street and Carnaby Street? These are two of London's liveliest and most famous streets.

Oxford Street was built in the Roman times but nowadays has over 300 shops along it's length! Over 200 million people visit this street every year, so it is always very busy but no matter what you are looking to buy, you can be sure to find it here.

Carnaby Street is another very famous area, built just after The Great Fire of London. The streets are always filled with colourful decorations and you can find some great places to shop and eat around here.
