Life in the UK: Gloria!

Last night I went to a restaurant called “Gloria” in Shoreditch. Gloria is a 70s style Trattoria- which means Italian style restaurant and some of the ingredients are even transported fresh from Italy! I ate a pasta carbonara which is cooked and then stirred by the waiter, inside a huge wheel of cheese at your table.🧀 You can see the video on my instagram! @missgabby2020

I’ve been eating out in restaurants more often recently to try and take advantage of the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme the UK government has introduced. That means each person gets their meal half price up to the value of £10! I’m feeling very grateful to be able to go out more now and to visit some of my favourite restaurants. Which is your favourite restaurant you can’t wait to revisit? Or are you like some of my students who have used this time to learn to cook their favourite dishes at home? 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳
